The Lighthouse

I don't want to say your name anymore, but maybe I'll whisper it.

Your signals are like a lighthouse and I'm the boat trying to read them. Maybe I'm getting close, maybe I'm still far out in the sea?

You get close on your own, I can feel you, I swear.

The doubts and fears rush back in, do you really care?

You stare into my eyes and I'm lost in yours,

the moments are never ending but really only seconds long.

Your like a star on a bright night, the one I wish upon each night, the one I wish I could hold tight.

All the letters I wrote you but never will send,

I don't want to say your name, just see your face.

Update

I am watching Julie & Julia....I must admit what I like most about this movie is Amy Adams hair. Also, the food looks good.

Anyways, my week has consisted of schoolwork, more schoolwork, and seeing the movie Abduction today, I actually liked it. The movies I'm never looking forward to I end up loving!

I am suppose to help a friend of mine follow through with a costume party on Halloween. I must admit Julie & Julia makes me wanna do something that I will have to blog about (like for a year or something) Food maybe?....any ideas?

A Sunday morning

"In the volume of the book it is written of me- to do your will O God." Hebrews 10:7

Quiet, everything was quiet. Everyone around me waited, waited for the preacher man to speak. At last he did and his voice broke through the air, shattering the silence.
"Turn with me to Hebrews," he said. the sound of turning pages began to fill the room, till at last he spoke again. He read out of the ancient book, it was powerful. The power was not from the preacher but the burning words that he read from the book. A book with words of life, feeling any void, in any heart. A book so wonderful you can't help but read it. A book so filled, with God's every word.
Everyone's focus was on these words and the souls in the room knew this book was a single story. The book was made up of chapters and pages but all meant one thing, there is a God. Yet, not only this but a God full of love, grace, mercy, wrath, and justice...only a few of His many attributes.
Quiet, everything is quiet. Everyone has stopped and listened. Listening to the words of life, flowing from the preacher man's mouth.
